French / English

Eileen Gray: Une architecture de l’intime / Intimate Architecture is a retrospection on the life’s work of the seminal design figure Eileen Gray. Born in 1878, Gray was one of the most iconic champions of the Art Deco and Modernist movements. From her work for Madame Mathieu Lévy to the villa ‘E 1027’, by the great Jean Badovici, and finally her home ‘Tempe a Pailla’, Gray carved a space for herself outside of the work of her male counterparts to forge the connection interior design back to emotion.
